David’s story starts well before most trained chefs, as a young boy in his grandmother’s hotel in the Swiss Alps. There, he helped prepare simple dishes and salads, but more importantly, sharpened his keen sense for unrivaled hospitality.

Transportation

Stable is easily accessible by public transport, just hop on the free DC Streetcar that will take you from Union Station straight to Stable.

Driving and looking for Parking? There is ample metered street parking on H-Street, in front and around Stable. The closest Parking Lot is located on 700 2nd Street NE at Nation Parking which is just a 10 minute walk away from the restaurant, or you can always take the free DC Streetcar from there as well.

Valet Parking is available from Thursday – Saturday from 6pm – 2am just a few doors down from Stable, located at 1362 H-Street NE. The Valet Parking is operated by H-Street Valet for $30.- per vehicle.
